Heidi and Ursula have been crafting for many years. Our two passions are Rubber Stamping and Scrapbooking. We adore our kids, our husbands, our dogs, our friends and they are often topics in our scrapbook pages. In mid 2010, Heidi decided it would be a great idea to encourage others to scrapbook like we do, but take away the hurdles that often prevent them from doing so. No time? No problem! No supplies? No Worries! We have designed kits so they are easy to assemble- all you need are your pictures and some adhesive.
We also felt that we were NOT going to provide a kit that looked like it came from the big box stores. We wanted to provide a kit full of gorgeous papers, good card stock, cool frames and embellishments, with everything pre-cut, and pre-inked. When the kits are finished, the completed albums will be a family treasure. If you were to purchase all the supplies that you would need to create a scrapbook album like ours, you will quickly see that our kits are a bargain!
For those that are digital Scrapbookers, we also wanted to make it easy! So, our kits are digital versions of our paper pages, with frames and decorations designed by Easy Scraps. You open the page in a photo editor, pop in your photo and print! So Easy!! We consider ourselves more of the Hybrid style Scrapbooker, so we like to print our pages and stamp on them and add paper embellishments to give it more dimension.
Although some people still think of them as two separate crafts, we have always mixed rubber stamping and scrapbooking together. So when we decided to start a scrapbook kit business, we of course planned on stamping in them! However, since we also wanted to create digital kits, we needed to design our own rubber stamps, and dies for cutting frames and embellishments. While this took a bit of time, we believe the result was worth it. Our frames are offered in our Crafter's kit and Overlay kits, and Easy Scraps Rubber Stamps are available for purchase as unmounted sheets. Our Rubber stamps work equally well in scrapbook pages as well as cards and other projects. We designed our sheets to contain images in different sizes, words that coordinate with the images, and there are many images on one sheet, so they are cost effective! Certain Rubber Stamps have coordinating digital files for cutting backgrounds on the Cricut machine, and are available in the Gallery for those that purchase the stamps.

Since we are also busy Moms, we know how little time there is to craft. We feel that scrapbooking is so important to the preservation of your memories, that we made it our business to make it easy for you. Our goal at Easy Scraps is to design and offer a new Blog post once a week, a new Rubber Stamp set every 6 weeks, and a new kit design, covering a different topic, every 6 months. We started with our "Welcome Baby" designs, with Wedding/Anniversay to come next, followed by Graduation, A Year in The Life, Holidays and more!
